Hi Chris
Overcoat and shirt have now arrived. the garments are excellent quality ,exactly what I was looking for, thanks.

Jason T

In 12 years of this hobby, they are by far the nicest trousers I have ever owned.  Thanks again.
Jake N

I got the drawers the other day and I wanted to drop you a line and say thank you for such a nice pair and also for your great customer service skills. I am the guy that got the socks  and a nice pair of socks they are. I will be in contact in the near future for a few more pairs. I think people, even when they do things right, hear a little too much of the negitive some times and I wanted to just say thank you.
Art R

The shirt did arrive and it is a work of art. Thank you for continuing to offer the very best Chris.....Jeff J

C.J., The vest I ordered from you arrived Monday past. The detail is magnificent and it fits perfectly. The fabric, both color and texture, is the best I've yet worn. Keep up the good work! Thanks Again,
Dan D

Chris,
Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that the frock coat was a huge success -- it was a perfect fit and when we left Mark in Richmond last night he was still wearing it -- in fact he told his friend that he was going to wear it out last night .Sorry I forgot my camera so I was unable to get a picture -- - will definitely get one when he comes the end of the month for Spring Drill. Thank you again for helping to make Mark's 21st birthday a huge success.

Bethanna G

Hi Chris,

Just want to drop you a note. The Infantry federal frock looks really great!!. Y our craftsmanship as a tailor is outstanding ! As we were  touring the Park, Shops in downtown Gettysburg . I had shop owners and folks on the street stop me and gave you a compliment !   They said " That is one a nice looking Frock !  Who made it and where did you buy it ?"  I told them it was from C. J. Daley.  Your product speaks for its self ! Thanks again,
 Mark M

Good Afternoon All, Just wanted to thank you all for my frock coat. It's gorgeous! Very well constructed, and a fair price to boot. You can be sure I'll keep you in mind for future clothing needs.
Wendell B

Mr. Daley,
DAMN!!!  That was fast!  Got the message from the mail courier that the box is going to be delivered today!  So I’ll have a NICE surprise when I get home. Thanks again so much for the fast delivery!!!

Jim R.

Chris,
Well, I got the shelter halves and confederate trowsers in today and as always fantastic quality and craftsmanship. Its come to the point where I can just look at a list without even seeing it... point , buy and know I am going to get a great product, no worries. Thank you again.

Besides civil war living history, I also play bagpipes  and am often called upon to play funerals and weddings etc. Well today I was asked to play at the funeral of a 102 yr old Irish lady (God bless her, 102! jeez) anyway with the temperature hovering around 28 and winds whipping about at 30 mph plus gusts there ain't a whole a lot of ways a guy in a kilt can keep from freezing to death an still look the part of a stylishly dressed piper. Unless he has an awesomely stylish (strikingly similar to the Inverness style coat) Chris Daley, federal infantry over coat It looked good and kept me from hypotherminating...I might even wear it this afternoon on my run ;-) thanks for making that really warm coat, saved my bacon today.
Joe K

Just a short note to let you know that I did received my overcoat and cup in last Monday's mail.  The coat has worked out more than you might have expected.  We had an event scheduled for Prairie Grove, Arkansas this weekend, but the storm system that can through dumped 15" of snow here in Osage County.  I have worn the coat to dig out with great effect.  I figure I have gotten my monies worth already and haven't been to an event with it yet...  Your attention to detail and the overall quality of your products are wants keeps me coming back to you my uniform needs...

Rick H

My sack coat arrived today and it is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! I could not be more pleased with the fit and quality. I actually got goose-bumps as I tried it on! (My wife calls me a civil war geek but I'm sure you would understand). I look forward to more purchases from you in the near future.
Scott K

I just want to take this time to thank you for all of the quality products that I purchased this past weekend. It felt like you paid a group of people to follow me around town to make compliments all weekend. The attention to detail just amazes me from everything from the button holes to the stitching inside each garment. Again thank you for everything and you can guarantee future purchases from me.
Brian D.

I received my order today and both items where precisely as described on  your website. Thank you for the quick turn around and I will definitely do  business with you in the future.
thank you,

Pete B.

Wow! I just got it (sack coat), and it's exactly like all the descriptions I've read about how they should look. It's so totally different from my sutler row coat that I'm going to bring them both to this season's events so I can show the rest of the guys in my unit the differences. Great work, thanks!
Guy L.

My Federal sack coat, trowsers, shelter half, and now my Weller overcoat are simply the best and I couldn't be happier with the service that I've received. Always a pleasure talking with you at the events.
Sincerely,

Joe G.

I just wanted to send you a quick note and let you know that my order (Weller hooded overcoat) arrived safe and sound this weekend. I also wanted to let you to know that the coat looks and fits great, and that I couldn't be happier with the workmanship. Now all I need is an opportunity to try it out in the field!
Steven D.

After nearly freezing to death at the event at Moody Grove in Visilia early this year, I contact Mr. Daley about one of his coats. I have received several compliments on the coat and yes I am so much warmer. I know this not news to many of you but after having made the mistake of not obtaining a quality great coat, Chris's product has been a god send.
Ernie M

I ordered one of the short rubber capes from you and finally had an opportunity to put it to good use during one of those downpours at the 145th Manassas this past July. As the skies opened up, I merely whipped it out of my haversack and put it on, to the envy & amazement of my pards :-) Thanks for offering such a great product! Regards,
Lee G

Received my shirt today, Chris.  Thanks for the ultra-fast delivery.  I LOVE this shirt.  I’ve been fretting over the possibility that I may get stuck wearing that awful white domet one I have.  Yours is like velvet in comparison, not to mention awesome build quality.  Yes, it fits around my neck, too.  Great job, I guarantee I’ll be seen in this shirt for many events to come.
Robert M

Chris-
I got the drawers in the mail today, and wanted to express just how pleased I am with them. They are indeed very comfortable, much more so than the Federal or CS patterns I currently wear. I have made a few garments and some leather gear, so I know what hand work is about. Your workmanship is just about an art form!  You should be proud of your talent- it is truly a gift. Thanks again Chris, and if I don't speak to you before, you and your family enjoy a safe, happy holiday season.
Regards,
Paul M

Hi Chris,
I got the coat
[Infantry Uniform Coat] yesterday, and I have to say it is beautiful. Way beyond my expectations and way better then the last custom coat I bought. It fits exactly as it should. Thank you for the excellent product.
Alan C

Thanks, Chris,
The under drawers arrived and are a great fit -- certainly more comfortable than the "issue" unmentionables
Paul H

Comrades,
I bought a dog tent a few years ago on Skinner's Row, actually, it was more of a "cat" (and a primal one at that!) tent, if you know what I mean. I've wanted to upgrade that portion of my kit for a while and Chris Daley was the vendor I chose to give my business. I am now the proud owner of a brand-new pair of Chris' "early war" shelter halves. Beautiful workmanship. Thanks Chris!

Also, it was a completely "paperless" transaction. Here's how it worked. I sent an e-mail via Chris' website requesting the tent. I rec'd an e-mail in reply stating there were none ready at the time, but I'd be notified when they were ready. As promised, an e-mail came, notifying me my goods were ready, and gave me the option of using PayPal. A couple of clicks later, my money was in Chris' bank account, and he was on his way to the post office with my order. Superb service. Super nice guy. Outstanding quality product. 'Nuff said!
Keith B

Chris Daley's system is at a level all it's own. I have done my best to put him under stress as I get back in the hobby - he has responded very well. From jackets to shirts to haversacks to cups, socks, drawers and now shelter tent - all at the push of a button.
No pay until it's ready to be shipped.
Superb quality and customer service at a fair price.
Thanks Chris
Doug C

I just received a Chris Daley sack coat, lined with tan wool flannel. I must say this is the nicest reproduction coat I've ever seen, Confederate or Union. For $165 new it's a steal. Daley's workmanship is excellent, the materials are superb, and the research on the blouses is top-notch. I cannot praise this article of clothing enough. If you're looking for a new item to upgrade your kit, and can spare the cash, this coat is a wonderful addition for nearly any Federal impression.
Yours,
Aaron G

Good Morning Chris,
I felt kind of sick all day yesterday due to some very strenuous activities I took part in all day Saturday and Sunday. It has been hotter then heck up here and it really got to me on Sunday. I guess I needed my electrolytes recharged or something. Anyway I couldn't wait to get out of work so I could get home and sleep. Well I eventually got home but there was no rest for me. You see there was a certain parcel sitting on my porch that I noticed as I shut my car door. We both know what it was. I brought the box into the house and laid it on the table. I didn't want to rush things so I put off opening the box for about 15 or 20 seconds.

To borrow a fraise from somebody we both know, Holy friggin sh*t! What else can I say except... well I don't really know what to say. Thank you! This jacket is so cool. You were 100% on that material and the lining material was a great choice as well. It gives me great pride to look at this piece and be able to think that each stitch was done by your hand. It fits great and thus will inspire me to keep my new svelte figure. I spent the evening checking the coat out and my wife was probably a little concerned that I might want to wear it to bed.

Anyway, I can't thank you enough and it will be certainly with pride, when I wear this jacket.
Thanks,
Rob W

Chris,
My mounted service jacket came in today and I'm very pleased with it. It looks like it belongs in a museum. Thanks for doing such a great job.
Joe B

Chris,
I received it [Fatigue Blouse].  It fits great and looks great.  I enjoyed it  very much during the event.  I received a lot of compliments on it too, especially the green lining!  Most of the guys in my unit now have Daley coats and other things: Brian S., Steve M., and Roy L. to name a few.  Steve and Roy had a few guys from other units go out of their way just to compliment them on their shirts you made for them.  I know your busy with them now but I thought you should know they are a big hit!  Thank you for going the extra mile to get my coat to me.  Looking forward to working with you again.  I hope you make some "big sizes" from time to time.  I will watch your website.
Sincerely,
Jeff F

Chris,
I received the frock coat on Saturday. May I just say that this is the greatest purchase I have made. The construction was perfect and materials top of the line. The pocket knife was also great (at least ten times better than my former one). I thank you and this just shows why my federal clothing comes from you.
Cheers.

John M

Chris
The Federal trousers are superb! They fit perfectly! I am not use to such great federal trousers - I have always been ashamed of my federal trousers in the past. These are great! Thanks again for such great service!
Regards,
Todd B

Chris,

You asked for my opinion on the binder, Well my frock is just about done, 1 days worth of full work and only have a few steps left to complete.  The Binder was very helpful and the illustrations were great. The binder definitely was worth the $30, saved a lot of headaches, and made construction time quicker, plus for those doing their first frock coat this is a must have instructional binder.  Making a frock is definitely not for the novice sewer, thank god I have made quite a few garments or I would be totally clueless.  So anyhow there's my thoughts, thanks for putting the binder together.

Casey O

Dear Sir,
I would like to thank you for your speedy service in delivering the Confederate frock coat assembly binder to me. I ordered it on Monday and it was in my hands by Thursday. That, sir, is service! I am very impressed with the amount of information contained there in. The descriptions of the stitching techniques are first rate. Thank you very much for making this information available to enacting community.
I remain,
Your most humble and obedient servant,

Tim P

Chris,
I received the shirt in the mail last week. I would like to thank you and all involved in the 'Bully Buy' project for the excellent workmanship and detail put into the shirt. I am now seriously considering getting a Federal Uniform coat from you in the not too distant future. I've seen your sack coats and trowsers up close, again top notch stuff. Take care and keep up the excellent business,

Taylor S

Chris,
Got my shirt last week. I'm very happy with it. I appreciate your excellent job at customer service. This was a big undertaking and from a customer perspective you did it well. Communication is key.
Regards,

Chris,
I received the 1st Sgt. chevrons today. I have been reenacting since 1992 and they are the best I've seen! Great quality and very authentic! Thanks a lot chris, keep up the good work.

Brian L

Chris,
I want to convey to you my absolute satisfaction in the garment you sent me. I by no means consider myself an expert in CW garments, but I have bought my share of stuff in 11 years. I try to study what I can. That jacket...RULES (sorry I can't come up with better than that right now). The finish job and attention to detail just blew anything else I have encountered out of the water. Your customer service is alien to my experience. The quality on yours puts that jacket to shame. The inclusion of the free haversack literally took my breath away. In my 11 years at this "hobby" I ain't never seen that, no how-no way! I was so tickled with the jacket, I showed it to a professional seamstress I work with, & she was damned impressed with it. anyway, the price was steep, I had resisted buying jackets & such from "high end" dealers ( how much different can they be?) but I believe I got my money's worth for a change. & a lesson. I will sing your praises to anyone that acts interested in hearing a tune.
Sincerely,

Joel F

Chris,
I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that I received my pants yesterday. They are perfect. They fit me really well and are exactly what I wanted. Thank you for the excellent customer service and for a fine product. Everyone in our mess is wearing something of yours and strongly endorsing it. Once again thanks for the quality product and service.
Rick M

Just received my 2 Bully Buy shirts, trowsers and under drawers from CJ Daley. Excellent service, customer follow up and workmanship. Will have the chance to use them all this weekend, albeit at a mainstream-progressive event in Chicago. I recommend his wares to anyone.

Hello Chris
I am compelled to write just to say the Principal Musicians Chevrons I order arrived promptly and they are a work of art. can't wait to sew them on but I had to bring them to our company's meeting to show them off first and the reactions were consistent; admiration all around the people that I showed them to shared my high opinion of them (you should have seen Mark Adler's face) thanks again for a beautiful product and great service I will be sure to mention to all who ask they are the work of Chris Daley.
Best regards

Joe K

Chris,
I did the Olustee Florida event in my frock and I must say that I was the envy of the event.  In fact I had to hire a bodyguard because a few of the guys really wanted the coat!  Things turned out well and I got many compliments on my natty appearance by the guys from the Salt River Rifles and the Southeast Federals. I took photos and hope to get you one soon.  By the way, that is me and some of the boys on the latest edition of the Camp Chase (you can call me "Cover boy").  I am wearing my Daley sack and trousers in the photo.  Hope to get with you guys sometime this year and do a post event. The Union Forever!
LeRoy M.

Chris,
I know you're busy, but I felt compelled to write you a short note.  I was in Gettysburg this past weekend and I got a chance to go to the visitor center museum.  I hadn't been to the center in years, too many tourist.  I saw the USCT uniform coat that you had mentioned to me in a phone conversation a year ago or so.  Believe me when I say that I am not trying to stroke you, but man the coat on display looked just like the one you made for me.   I mean just like it.  If I didn't know better I could have sworn it was my coat on display.  Damn good job my friend.
 With regards
 LeRoy M.

Chris,
I received my coat and am EXTREMELY happy with it. The workmanship on it is awesome, and I can't wait to use it (especially on a warm day). Thanks for doing such a great job, and thanks also for including a pair of socks with my order.

Joe B

Chris,
Got the sack in the mail today.  WOW!  Excellent job sir.  I am very pleased with it and it fits good.  The sleeves are a little long, but hey that's how the boys got'em.  Thanks for getting it to me in a timely manner.  I know you probably got swamped back when you posted about anybody wanting one.  The wool is excellent with it's pronounced diagonal weave.  You have done yourself proud.  I know that I will wear it with pride and let everyone know that you made it.

Your very satisfied customer,
Baron B

Chris,
I received my sack coat today. I cannot believe how nice and how well made it  is. I was comparing it to my old one, WOW what a difference!!! Nice work!! Now I'll have to save my money and order some trowsers!! That will probably  be next years upgrade, unless I change my mind. Thanks again so much, I will wear it with pride!!
Pete S.

Mr. Daley,
Just thought I'd follow up on my order and thank you for the superb item I received. Everything is great, no problems at all. I appreciate the offer you provided, it worked well for me. Thanks again on the great sack and I'll be sure to consider you as a prime source for authentic items in the future.
Howard M.

Mr. Daley,
Just wanted to let you know the fatigue blouse you sent arrived this morning (actually last night but I didn't get to the PO until this am). It fits wonderfully and I am very happy. Thanks again. The blouse is beyond anything I could have ever imagined and I'm truly thankful for your work. Thanks again for everything and God bless.
David B.

Chris,
Today, I received the Confederate Frock Coat. One word for all this: WHOA!!! AWESOME! (actually 2 words!) It is a great coat. I love it and it fits right! Thank you! A very satisfied customer.

JD G.

The fatigue blouse arrived today, and it fits very well! Can't wait to wear it to  for the company drill. I will wear this with pride for this year and many to come. Thank you for your hard work, and good luck in the future.

Jeff T.

Chris,
I just got home about 15 minutes ago, and my Sack Coat was on my front stoop. I don't know what to say, other than, the coat is outstanding!!! I love it. It is a good fit and the fabric is awesome! When I started into this hobby, you were highly recommended to me, and I am very pleased with the results. I'll look forward to sporting this Sack Coat at my LR events, and I will look forward to doing future business with you! Thanks a million!
Sincerely,
Jacob D.

Chris,
I was extremely pleased when I got home from work this afternoon (after a crappy day) to discover that my fatigue blouse had arrived. I wasted no time in tossing my leather jacket on the floor and ripping open to box to see what is truly a great piece of craftsman ship. I actually had goosebumps when I put it on. Fits great. It really made my day. Almost better than Christmas. I don't know what else to say, except thanks. Some how "thanks" doesn't seem like enough...but it will have to do. I look forward to my first event in it, and will try to get a photo for you. I can't believe...after seeing and feeling this...that all these guys wear that really heavy, crappy wool coats from Skinners Row.  Hopefully in the not too distant future I can get a shirt from you. Saving my pennies for the good stuff. Thanks again. I honestly appreciate the hard work and effort you put into this blouse.
Kind regards,

Chris W.

WOW WOW WOW WOW, I received the sack coat it is a perfect fit, did I say WOW yet I am very happy with it and it looks so authentic, I cant believe how well it looks, just like the coats in the old original Civil war photos it wears and hangs the same as originals look, a mighty fine piece of work there Chris, can't wait to show it off. Thanks A million for letting me know that you had one in my size.
Thanks

Doug P.

Hello I received my order of the 1st Sergeant chevrons and I am very pleased in the turn around time and the polite service. I am a very satisfied customer.
Thanks

Josh Q.

Hey, thanks for making good on your promise.  I got a lot of compliments last weekend on the Western State Issue jacket you made me several months  ago, I expect lots of drooling over the Excelsior jacket. Thanks again.
Scott R.

Mr. Daley,
I would simply like to thank you for the quality of your products.  I received my fatigue blouse in time to wear at an NSSA event in Winchester this past weekend.  Your blouse put the finishing touch to my impression.  I cannot begin to tell you how many compliments I received.  I am simply amazed at difference between it and the blanket weight junk that I used to wear.  I was asked and could not answer, what type of wool lining did you use?  It is very fine yet comfortable. Again I cannot say enough praise.
Sincerely,
Dave M.

Howdy Chris....got the drawers and let me tell ya...I'll remember ya when I say my prayers from now on!! Thanks for a high quality spot on authentic pair a drawers! Can't wait for the next under drawer inspection or river crossin!! See ya in the field...
Keith R.

Mr. Daley, I received the sack coat in the mail today. Thank you for letting me trade sizes. I really like the coat, and your work is awesome. Best Regards,
Andrew H.

Chris, didn’t get to thank you for getting the shelter half to me in a most expeditious manner.  It arrived on Thursday, and I left for the Chickamauga LH the next day.  It rained all weekend and things would have been considerably more unpleasant without that shelter half.  Thanks again.
Robert M.

Chris,

Got the forage cap in the mail today.  WOW!!!  What a finely crafted piece of history.  Geez, this thing is awesome!  It fits my head perfect.  It has that nice rakish look to it like you see in so many of those original photos.  I want to commend and compliment you on making this project happen.  In a word, you ARE the cutting edge supplier in this hobby.  I can't comment enough on your drive and skill to offer us super authentic stuff.  Thank you for that.  And if you could, please thank Joel Bohy personally for me for making such an impressive forage cap.  I will wear and show this cap off proudly! Again, I thank you and Joel.

 Baron B

Chris,

Just a little bit of positive feed back on your product.  Since I started in this hobby in the late 80's I've owned and used more drawers and drawer-like things than I want to consider.  We had the first event of our season out here last weekend and I had my first chance to try the drawers that I picked up from you last winter.  Yours is the first pair that I actually enjoyed wearing by the end of the day.  No pinching, no gathering, no chaffing, they didn't split, tear or otherwise go to pieces in other words they worked just fine.  My complements on a great simple product.

 Regards,
Stewart H

Chris:

Just to let you know that the two sack coats I ordered from you arrived safely in New Brunswick today (Thursday, February 27). They look great! I could see even while the coats were still folded in the box that I had arrived at a different (and higher) level of quality. By the way I did send you the requested postage via PayPal as you suggested. I hope you got that alright. Thanks again for all you help. I expect I'll become a walking billboard for your work here in our region.
Best regards,

Lindsay T

While I was opening the box, I have to admit, I was excited as my kid will be on Christmas. The quality exceeds my high expectations of the Famous C. J. Daley! It looks very good! I look good! From now on, I will be the most handsome guy in the whole Irish Brigade. My pards will envy me. The cursed secessionist scum of the south will refuse to shoot. They will say, “Whoa, hold your fire men, you might hit that hat. Its too beautiful! Lets surrender just so we can go over and see it!” Chris, it really looks great.
Thanks,

Richard F.

Hello Chris,
I received the sack coat today.  I cannot believe the difference in quality to the sack coat I currently wear.  Your sack coat surpasses the one I have in every way.  Thank you for your assistance.  I look forward to purchasing more item from you in the future.
Regards,

Rob W.

Hello C.J. Daley,
I want to ensure you that the following items were field tested this winter weekend, February 15th-16th. 2003. A pair of Canton flannel under drawers, Wool flannel federal issue contract shirt, Wool federal issue socks and a Weller overcoat. All were nice and cozy, and were admired by all. The hood on the Weller overcoat is particularly nice when the cold breeze and snow flakes come whipping through camp, many were envious. I was scared to take a hit on the battlefield lest somebody decided they had more need of the coat than my widow.
Regards,

Ken G

Chris,

I recieved the drawers and chevrons yesterday.  The drawers are FANTASTIC!  Great material (ones that actually won't rub your skin off), great fit with adjutsable back with period correct stay, button fly (so no more clothing acrobatics to relieve oneself), and very durable material! Thanks again for the rapid response,

Jim B

Mr. Daley,
I was organizing my kit this morning, getting ready for another upcoming season, when I realized that I had not sent you a letter of thanks for all the great stuff you've made.  I've been in the process of re-doing my impression and in that time have received one pair dark blue enlisted trowsers, a sack coat, two federal contract shirts, and most recently a pair of those great drawers. All of the garments are really top notch and I can't thank you enough for what you are doing for the hobby, my apologies for not sending something sooner.
Sincerely,

Greg M

Chris,
I came home from yearbook around 7:15 this evening and was anxious to see if I had heard back from the university that I applied to about college for next fall. I got an even better surprise though as I saw a package at my computer. I quickly ripped it open, as best I could, and was ecstatic to get the Blouse, Thank you so much! I'll be wearing it around to break it in and the fact that I can't take my eyes off it. Out -standing job, you have yourself a new spokesperson and life customer. Thanks!

Joe D

Chris,
Received the Chevrons yesterday and all ready stitched them on! I'm VERY impressed with your service and quality business. I will no doubt do business with you again and will also recommend you! Thank you!
Regards,

John W

Hello Chris,
Just thought I would let you know that I am thrilled with this years Christmas present from my wife. Assuming that you probably don't recall what that may have been, it is one of your commercial sack coats. It really is a beautiful piece and I wore it for the first time over at OBVR for one of their xmas candle light evenings. Not that it is the same coat that I can compare it to but I did compare it to an original Cavalry Officers Frock coat that I have in my collection. The materials used are identical with a slight difference in the sleeve lining. On the original the sleeve lining is striped just like what you used but the material itself on the original is polished. I look at your coat at it is like I have an original. Very cool. By the way having those pockets will be great and I love the way the sewing was done around the opening of that inside pocket.
Rob W

I wore the Frock coat you sold me last month to my first reenactment since the purchase. I belong to Gary B's group, 10th Virginia, Co. H, out here in So. Cal. along with Lance W. and Richard M. I wanted to let you know that your coat was the talk of the event. Richard tried to get me to give it to him, then tried to buy it from me.

Thank you again for the great product..
Tom D

Dearest Mr. Daley;
Today, my friend, I did receive your pants. I wish I had read more correctly about the 4 braces button issue but is of little discourse. Certainly it did surprise me but buttons are added easily. They fit stupendously and the material is, as anything else you make, the finest. The quality I am wearing is possible only by Divination. Elst wheres I have your drawers which are the most comfortable undergarments there are and the contract issue shirt is certainly the most uncomfortable but after a time it becomes very warm and almost enjoyable. God bless you, sir, you are the great gift to re-enacting and suttlery goods.
Marc H

Chris, It took a while, but I finally was afforded the opportunity to wear the SA Coat that I purchased from you last spring. It, along with the replacement issue shirt (gray rather than the ever shrinking brown) are absolutely awesome!! I had wanted to thank you in person during our recent trek through the NE, but in logging 8300 miles, there wasn't time to add G'sburg to the list. Thanks for your efforts and quality of work, and your support of the CHAPs organization. Respectfully, John Persinger Washington Civil War Association CHAPS
John P

HI Chris
I gotta tell you this one. The totally awesome coat arrived last Saturday morning, fantastic. SO I'm looking at the calendar and wondering when I'm gonna get a shot at using it and I'm figuring maybe April probably October. Well, Angela and Mark's daughter was getting married this past Friday and they hired me to play bagpipes at the church. It turns out to be one of the coldest and most blustery days of February and I'm wondering what am I gonna do, it definitely was not kilt and jacket weather but when you play the pipes you have to wear the whole 9 yards , so to speak. Then I get to thinking, I have this super quality, really warm, inverness style (kinda) wool coat and it matches my kilt and jacket etc. Well let me tell you brother I put that coat on and piped away and the wind was blowing but it didn't matter thanks to my new CJ Daley coat...you may have a whole new market Chris.
cheers
Joe K

Hmmmm....once again you've outdone yourself.  According to your web, the haversacks wouldn't ship until April, but to my surprise I came home yesterday to find a package from LD Haning containing two haversacks!!  Now that's service from the both of you with the best part being the haversacks themselves.....our old ****** ones (hanging head in shame here) have been relegated to the very back of the equipment closet for extreme emergencies only.  Many thanks to both you and Tim!!

Chris,
I received the shelter halves, pins, and trowsers.  I must say I am very pleased.  The shelter halves are definitely the best reproduction I have seen yet.  The trowsers are great too.  They are  a little long, but I can just roll them up.  I am very pleased with the quality of your goods and will definitely spread the word to others.  Thanks again!  Im sure I will be doing business with you again soon.
Sincerely,

Jonathan E

I wanted to let you know that I received my order for drawers today. They fit fantastically, and the speed of delivery is amazing.  After years in the hobby, plagued with slow delivery at the convenience of the retailer, your service is a breath of fresh air and truly amazing.  Thank you so much for your fast service and quality products.

Bob W

Chris,
Thanks again for your quick work. I received many compliments on the Lt. Starr coat, which are, in fact, due to your great work.
Dave G

Chris,
I just wanted to Thank You again for the great Weller overcoat (holding it back for me, sewing on the buttons, and putting up with my anxiety over getting it Saturday before nightfall). It is really great and came in handy. I can't say enough about your products and the consideration you give to your customers. The other things that I've bought from you several years ago are still the best around and in time I will more than likely buy more. When I wear your uniforms/clothing/equipment I really "feel" more like a 19th century man and hopefully appear that way to others.I hope to do business with you again. I will hopefully see you at So '62, if not sooner. I will check back with you to see whatever else it is that I can't live without.
Best Regards,
Jos. G

Chris,
I just wanted to thank you again for selling those logwood trouser I bought from you this weekend at McDowell. I do appreciate the discount in price. I would also like to thank you for your fine workmanship and detail you put into every garment you produce and your kind service and professionalism you display in dealing with not only myself, but the reenacting community in general. You are the first person I'll contact whenever I'm looking to have any new uniform or clothing items made in the future. Again, thank you for your cooperation and great service.
Daniel C

CJ, I received my Federal issue socks and Pvt. Meyers Federal issue shirt today. Wow! These products are great. This was the first time I ordered from you and will be back for other needs in the future. The attention to detail and fine workmanship is quite evident. Thanks so much!
Ken G

Chris..,
Just a short note to let you know that I received my frock coat today.  To say the very least - I am 110% satisfied with your finished product.  I can't wait to show it off to all my comrades...
Most respectfully yours,

Rick H

Chris, I got the frock coat today ,all I have to say is WOW!!!!!!! I seen ****'s and your surpasses his by miles. truly a work of art!!!! Thanks again.
Joe K

Mr. Chris Daley,
Last year I purchased a lined fatigue blouse from you, and just a few minutes ago, placed an order for a pair of under drawers, and a canteen cover.  First of all I just want to say I am ecstatic about your sack coat.  I volunteer at the Cincinnati History Museum, and a reenactor since 1990.  We compared your sack with a several that were on display, and I must say we were impressed.  You could hardly tell the difference.  I must say from all the people I have dealt with, by far you are the best vendor out there, making items historically correct, and making them affordable.

Chris E

Chris,
I just wanted to send you a short note to express how happy I am with my new frock coat. As usual, the quality is superb and it fits great! I really believe that you are one of the main reasons that the "hard core" (or whatever you want to call it) movement has taken off. You provide top quality, authentic items without a long wait at a very fair price. In addition, your savvy business practices have opened up the world of authentic reproductions to the masses. The days of waiting months or even years for high quality items are over and I couldn't be happier. Thanks! Best wishes,
Bill L

Chris,
Received my CS (Bomar) frock on Saturday. It is without a doubt the best fitting coat I have purchased from anyone (include my Brooks Brothers suit!!!).  I don't know what modifications you made to follow my instructions but all I can say if you ever get into the alterations business I've got a ****** frock that could use the same modifications in the stomach region (I'm tall not fat)!!!!  That little extra is what sets you apart. Since I'm just developing a Confederate impression, after years of reading and working so hard on my Federal impression, I won't pontificate about how authentic it is vs.  extant, etc..  I can say it is a beautiful coat.  Not having ever touched the original I can say it exhibits all the traits that I have read the extant coat this one is modeled after exhibited and that is all I could hope for because that is what I wanted. You've done a lot for the c/p/h community. Besides the craftsmanship, $300 for that coat is a great deal as well. When I first got back into re-enacting the sources I got from your website's bibliography (and what I gleaned from John Tobey) provided me with the foundation I need to research my Federal impression. So a big thanks is long over due!
Thanks again.

Jeff L

I wanted to take the time to let you know I received my CS frock coat from you today, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. I've been wearing it around the house all night ;). Your attention to detail in your garments comes through again, I was more than pleased to see the buttons were held in place by twill tape. I am looking forward to wearing at an  event in the near future. Thank you once again for your time and effort,
Most sincerely,

Andy A

Chris,
I received my order Saturday.  Everything is perfect as usual.  Let me know when the military vest and kepi are ready and I will send payment.  I spoke to Brett A. and he received his trowsers on Friday, in time for the weekend event.  Thanks again for everything. Regards.
Mike M

Mr. Daley, The brown jean Confederate issue trousers arrived today.  Wow, I'am 100% satisfied!  Great fit and I like the jean cloth much more than what the others were made from!  I can't wait to wear these and strut around at the next event.
 Thanks,
Erik McB
The nicest lookin banny rooster in the Sesech Mess thanks to C.J. Daley!

Mr. Daley,
I am writing to express my pleasure with an order I placed with you several weeks ago. I would have sent my thanks earlier, but I had been out of town the weekend the package arrived, but was able to get my new sack coat and contract shirt just in time to go out of town again for a living history event at the Carter House in Franklin, Tennessee. I am also looking forward to using them again at Pickett's Mill next month. Once again, my thanks for offering such quality equipment and prompt service.

Andy A

Hey Chris,
Wow, that coat
[Confederate English Overcoat] is really cool. Out of all of the stuff you have done for me, this coat has got to be on top of the list. Well, that IU jacket is up there as well. I have been over and over this coat checking out everything that went into it and every time I look at it I notice something else that I didn't before. This might sound odd but that collar is really neat and the button placed on the bottom is something I didn't expect. The hand work through out is impressive as it seems (no pun intended) there is more of it in this coat than most of what I have seen in others. The material is awesome including that lining. I added one small touch to it last night. I sewed in my ancestors name rank and regiment (Lt. P. H. Wood, 1st SCV) into the lining to give it a very personal touch and I did so intending to honor him and his service. As I have said in the past your work is that of an artist and it inspires the wearer.
Thank you.

Rob W

Chris,
I just wanted to let you know that I went home on leave in early March and was able to try on both pair of trousers and my sack coat. Awesome job. I am very pleased with your products and thought that it was money well spent. I'm really excited about getting home now and hitting up a couple of events in my new duds. The guys in my unit are going to be ashamed to stand next to me in line. Couldn't be happier in doing business with you.
Tom G

Hello Chris;
After making a cursory review of the overcoat and looking in my reference book Langellier's; Army Blue: The Uniform of Uncle Sam's Regulars and looking at page 143 a closeup of the civil war enlisted man's overcoat you have done an outstanding job in matching the color and weave of the material as well as the stitch used for the button holes. Although a little pricey at $425, the authenticity as close to the original as possible is amazing and is definitely worth the extra money. One needs as much protection from the elements that clothing can give. Comparing your coat to *****'s is the difference between night and day. The weight of *****'s overcoat because he did not follow the quartermaster specifications and cut all kinds of corner's. The wool lining ***** uses is considerably lighter the muslin lining is see through. The eye and eyelets are modern, he does not use any inside reinforcement patches. Holding your coat in one hand and the ***** in the other, the ***** is considerably lighter I would guess his would be at least 2 pounds lighter.
Your Obedient Servant,
Mike M

Dear Chris,
I am writing to let you know that the Tait jacket arrived in Ottawa a couple of weeks back and it was a pleasure to take it out of the box. I wanted to let you know that the jacket is a fine piece of clothing and I appreciate the workmanship and detail you have put into it. In my capacity as the curator of a historic military clothing collection, I look after a number of jackets produced by the Sir Peter Tait Co., for the Canadian Militia, in the 1860's. In looking at the cut and appearance of your work and the original Peter Tait products, you have captured the look and feel of mid-19th Century military clothing. Please feel free to post my personal comments on your work for your testimonials as they are well deserved.
Yours sincerely,
Eric F

I purchased one of your Tait jackets on Sunday and am thrilled with it. I've studied them up close a good deal and I think your work is right on the money. Couldn't be happier, and wanted to let you know - job WELL DONE!!!

Martin A

Hello Chris!
I would like to say I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the canton flannel undergarments I purchased from your site, the are the most comfortable period underwear I have ever worn. I am also very pleased about the fact that I ordered them on Monday and received them on Wednesday, good job!
Thanks again!

James C

Chris I just wanted to say that I love the coat, I know its a been a while since I got it but I just never had the time to email you, but its a great coat I wear every time I go out. Even grocery shopping after an event were its been in the rain smoke dirt mudd and anything you can imagine I still wore it. Its a great coat and I can't say enough about it
John B

Chris,
Man oh man.  Got my Tait jacket/trouser combo in the mail today.  All I can say is wow.  I got home at 6:30, opened the box, and put them on.  It's now 10:30 and I have yet to take off the jacket.  Your attention to detail and workmanship are obvious throughout both articles of clothing.  Oh, and both fit perfect as well.  Can't wait until Mansfield, so I can wear it in the field, and my next order from you.

Your Servant,
Eric F

Good day sir. I managed to make Gettysburg from Canada last weekend, and took advantage of your sale on the overcoat and trowsers. They are just amazing in looks, quality and workmanship. Also, the colors were just what I was looking for. I picked up a pocketknife while there, and it also looks great! I look forward to impressing my pards with my new duds as soon as the season starts.
Thanks,

Mitchell E

Hi Chris,
I'm very taken with your Peter Tait jackets... what a fine job you have done! I have seen the Taits at the Museum of the Confederacy in an up-close, personal viewing of the garments, and your repros are quite nice to say the least - you should be proud.
Martin A

Chris,
I'm sorry I missed you over the week end. I was there and did go to the store.  I wanted to tell in person how much I love the coat (the lining is great!)

Thanks for a great job!
Matty C

Mr. Daley, you’re the man. I wasn’t expecting the trousers to be in by this weekend, but sure enough there they were along with the rest of my order Friday morning. Thank you very much for your excellent service.

Hello Chris,
Just dropping you a line to say a big thankyou for the Tait jacket that arrived today, The workmanship is fantastic a real masterpiece I shall wear it with pride, I got it in 6 days and believe me on deliveries to the UK that's very good. Next time I'm after anything else I'll be knocking on your door! Thank you.
Warm Regards

Graeme H

I received the Tait jacket today.  Once again you have provided a quality garment.  It is beautifully constructed and is a work of art.  When we talked I had mentioned a Tait jacket I had seen at the Greensboro Historical Museum in NC.  I have since found a picture of it in Leslie Jensen's Johnny Reb The Uniform of the Confederate Army, 1861 - 1865 on pages 60 and 61.  It differs slightly from the Pendleton jacket but has many of the same characteristics.  Anyway, thanks again for the great jacket and I look forward to doing business again in the future.  Hopefully some in person at Gettysburg when I move back east.
V/R,
Robin C

Hey Chris,
We bought a pair a drawerd from you for me and they just arrived yesterday. I must say, they are the most comfortable things I have ever worn! Exceptional craftsmanship, I must say. I look forward to dealing with you in the future.
Thanks,

Zach W

I just want to tell you that they came in on Friday, and I am so pleased with them.  I wish could I wear them everywhere, but u know, they do have exposure laws, so that's not really an option, but if I could I would.  They are such great quality, but that is what I always get form you.  Keep up the good work, and maybe ill persuade my pards to get a pair also. Thanks for the hard work
Travis Z

Daleys,
Just to let you know, the French Blue Vest arrived. Fits well and very impressed with the quality and workmanship.Thank you for your efforts and prompt service. I very much appreciate your contribution to my impression and our mutual avocation.

Chris,
I received my great coat on Christmas day , my wife totally surprised me with it; she said "there was no way we could get it if we are in the process of moving". The coat is fantastic, the quality of your garments are unmatched in the industry countless hours of research and love of the period as well as your willingness" to go the extra mile" for your customers are displayed in ever stitch of your work. I am right now looking at my copy of "Echoes of Glory" (Pg. 129) and one can see the detail of your work is exactly as the originals plus your own signature styling can be seen as well, perfection Sir is all I can convey.
I hope to see you and your wife at this years Olustee reenactment ;it will be a pleasure for me to meet both of you, and thank you in person.! Thank you again for all the hard work you and your wife do for the hobby ;It really makes the Civil War come to life for me and the children that I do work shops with!. Hope you and your family had a Great holiday season ,and I look forward to ordering a pair of trousers as well as French style underwear very soon.
Best regards,

Ted W

Chris
Finally got a chance to use my overcoat this weekend. 38 degrees with a good breeze blowing, it was just what I needed. Couple of Yankees offered to trade their great coats for it because of the hood.  I will put it to the ultimate test on Lee - Jackson day weekend in Lexington Va.
Best Regards

Jim M

Chris,
Just wanted to let you know that the CD jacket and trousers arrived today and they honestly couldn't be better.  Besides the attention to detail and workmanship, which I expected to be great, they fit like they were tailored just for me (trousers are perfect in both the waist and in length)!  I think it is fair to say that you will be my first choice for uniform pieces in the future.
Best,

Eric

Dear Chris,
I received my cap today in the mail, and words cannot describe the feeling of happiness I have with its craftsmanship.  It is the best cap that I own, and truly surpasses anything anyone else can produce.  Be expecting to receive many orders for your fine wares in the future.
Travis Z

Chris,
I just wanted to let you know that I received my vest yesterday and to say thanks for another great fitting, quality garment. The French blue color is awesome and judging by the pictures on your site, it looks spot on to the original. Just when I think I'm all set, you put something that I "need" on sale. Thanks, you're killing me! Keep up the great work. Take care,
John P

Hello Mr. Daley,
I just wanted to let you know how delighted I was to receive my vest the other day. It is truly a work of art. Excellent in all regards, materials, workmanship, fit, etc. It is as I and many others have come to expect from you, only the best. Just wanted to let you know how pleased I was with it, and how surprised I was with the speed with which you had it made and sent off, (much faster than many who sell off the rack items). So thanks so much for the vest, and especially the opportunity to save a couple bucks with the special. Also, would you relay the message to Mr. Bohy that I am very pleased with my Brooks cap. He does superb work and I hope to buy from him again. I love the cap and it even looks perfectly silly. I feel like I stepped out of a drawing of "Hardtack & Coffee."
Thanks again,
Jeff D

Hi Chris,
I just wanted to commend you on awesome work and running a friendly business.  I have ordered a sack, forage cap, and stripes from you in the past 12 months.  One of my units was in Gettysburg on the 3-5 weekend for "Ohio at Gettysburg".    While we were there, we couldn't wait to get to Pat Klein's store on Steinwehr Avenue to see your stuff.  Four of us bought your gray wool federal issue shirts, me and another bought drawers. It was great.  Your stuff is primo!!  And Pat is very friendly too.  Again, this is a big thanks from me and my pards and we hope to see you at Lookout.
Sincerely,

 Ken C

Hello Mr. and Mrs. Daley,
I just received my sack coat and words can't describe my elation over this garment; the sack coat is fantastic and worth every penny I sent you for it (more even) you can really tell you love your work, every detail is exciting to look at, its like going back in time and  putting on one of their original coats. I don't know what else to say ,I sincerely love this sack coat; you have captured the essence of the civil war with your craftsmanship, thank you Sir and Madam thank you very much.

Ted W.

Chris,
I received my JT Martin coat today. It is outstanding in quality and of excellent craftsmanship, keeping in fine with your reputation as an unrivaled tailor of 19th Century uniforms. Thank you for getting it to me so fast. I am in your debt. Look me up if you are ever at a Western event and I will gladly treat you to your favorite refreshment anytime.

Greg C

Chris:
I received the Columbus Depot Jacket today, possibly the best WBTS jacket I have ever owned!  It's a great fit and I  am impressed with your kraftwerk!  I will definitely buy my next set of pants from you.  THANKS A MILLION!

Greg D

Chris,
The mounted service trousers I ordered came in today, and I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with them. The fit and the workmanship are fantastic. And the attention to detail is impeccable (I noticed that even the inside-the-trouser-leg buttons for support straps were present). Thanks for doing such a great job on them. I'll be wearing them to War on the James when I participate in my first event as a mounted cavalryman. Can't wait!

Joe B

Chris
The Columbus Depot jacket is AWESOME! I wore it at our Ft. Stevens, OR, event last weekend, and it was great! Doug wore his there, too (along with one of your great Confederate frocks), so our mess looked mighty good. :-) Thanks for all the great work you're doing.
Your Comrade,

Chad T

Chris,
Just a quick note to let you know how pleased I've been with the uniform items I've bought from you.  They fit great, and look even better!  I've had guys in my group,  ask where I get my uniform items, and I tell them from the best in the business...you.  I'll be getting all my uniform items from you from now on...like I said, you're the best!
By Files Right,

Shannon L

Sir,
Thank you!  The jacket and trousers are outstanding!  The workmanship on both items is great.  Both items are a great fit. The jacket and trousers will greatly enhance my Western Confederate impressions. Again, thank you!

Brian H

Chris,
I received my jacket and trousers Friday, they fit great and I am well pleased.  I also wanted to say this and the issue shirt Bully Buy seem like an excellent business idea.  Making 100 shirts at the same time and processing orders as a group would seem to be tremendously more efficient than doing them individually.  The hobby benefits not only by more quality gear but a more issue look.  Having a number of men in a company not only with Columbus Depots but the SAME CD is great.  Even the better CS units out here are still too ragtag by far, completely buying into the "no two dressed alike" in a very literal sense.  Thanks again.

John D

Mr. Daley,
I received my new forage cap last week, and just wanted to take some time to tell you that I absolutely love it!  It is amazing, and by far the best cap I have ever worn!  I actually like it so much, I have been wearing every spare moment I can around the house!  The quality of the work and the materials is outstanding.  I could not be more satisfied.  I look forward to doing more business with you in the immediate future. Thank you again from a new and hopefully "regular" customer.

Coby T

Chris,
Just received my shelter half and pins, federal sack coat and forage cap and I am extremely impressed with the construction, fabric and fit. The ability to order something on-line via an extremely well laid out website and pay via paypal is a huge advantage to someone like me who may not have the time to spend on the phone or paging through a website. The articles arrived very quickly and the prices surely must be the best value in the quality end of the hobby. The forage cap in particular is a work of art. The shelter half is the best I have ever seen - buttons, grommet holes, weight of fabric and dimensions are spot on. Thanks so much for your service and craftsmanship. I will definitely be ordering again.

Doug C

Dear Chris,
Just a quick note to let you know how pleased I am with my Pvt. Wiedershiem forage cap. (Yes...I had to wait until Father's Day to get it...you are a dad, you know how it is:) It's interesting how different the angle of the crown, the design of the bill, and the interior lining is when compared with my more "mainstream" cap. Thanks again. The wait was well worth it.

George B

Chris,
The Weller Overcoat which you sent to me back in February of this year. With some of the snowy and cold weather we have had this past winter in the Northeast, I have even worn the coat to work or to shovel snow, and it has kept me warm all the way. I have worn the coat to two events reenactment events now as well as to the drill weekend for my unit. Not only did I receive some very good compliments, but the darn thing actually kept me dry with damp and rainy weather at the two reenactments! Truly great! We have also been corresponding more recently than February regarding some questions I have on possible order of trowsers and I have to say your level of customer service, courtesy and willingness to share your knowledge is just simply AWE some!!! I will definitely be ordering from you in the future of any relevant items I might need.

Regards,
Gerard M

Chris,
I received my cap in yesterday's mail. I wanted to let you know that I think it looks and feels fantastic. The cap has all the characteristics that I was looking for but had been unable to find. This is the first forage cap that I have had that had a brim and chin strap comparable to the caps I had viewed in the Gettysburg NMP collection when I volunteered there back in high school. I won't claim to be an expert on these matters because I don't make my living working around, or immersed in, the war's material culture. I will say that in my opinion any c/p/h group should have you added to their recommended dealer list for caps. The caps you and Joel are producing are as good, or better, than any I have been able to lay my hands on, and I have seen most of the well know ones on the market. Thanks again and please thank Joel as well.
Jeff L.

Chris,
I received my state jacket and haversack yesterday and I couldn't be happier with them!!! The jacket is absolutely beautiful and the materials and craftmanship are simply superb...I can't wait to wear it in the field. The haversack is a little "too white" and likewise I can't wait to get it out and dirty it up a bit! Thanks again  for the great work and speedy delivery.
Sincerely,

Brian W

Greetings,
I just received my new forage cap I had ordered and it is GREAT! I am extremely pleased and excited. Thank you for an incredibly great item. You have another happy customer.
Thanks again,
Jeff W

Hi Chris,
Just wanted to let you know I wore the state jacket  picked up from you at McDowell. I wore it to a living history in the area I need to tell you it is an awesome jacket. The denim lining, padded gave the garment a fuller chest and just looked great. I examined the original photos on your website and, no surprise, found my jacket a twin of the original. I appreciate the quality you put into your product. Some authentic producers seemed to have lost the concept of quality as the need for quantity surfaced. Your stuff is as good as it has always been. Secondly, the satinet fed pants are a perfect fit and a bit of a sin I think. I go without drawers and very much appreciated the softness of the satinet. I felt like I was in silk pajamas all weekend. Is that a bad thing? Great pants, well made and comfortable. I may never go kersey again. As of today I have of your manufacture: an old hardee, ground cloth, the state jacket, and two pair of pants. The drawers you made for me via my wife's christmas plea have long gone and are now relegated to rags. Everything I have of your manufacture I value for its quality and attention to detail. Thanks again.
Steve A

Chris:
Just wanted to let you know that the overcoat arrived yesterday and I'm quite impressed.  The material and workmanship are excellent!  Combined with your friendly and attentive service, I would have to say that you're running a first rate operation.  I would not hesitate one instant to recommend you to anyone looking for high quality goods. Thanks again, and I look forward to doing business with you again in the near future.

Jim M.

Mr. Daley,
I received my Weller Hooded Confederate Overcoat last night and I must say that I am very pleased. The coat fit perfectly and your workmanship is that of the highest quality. Your excellent research shows in the quality product you produce. It is apparent that great time and care is involved in the products you make.
Thank you,

Scott D.

Dear Chris:
The sack coat arrived!  What a beautiful piece of work!  It fits great, and I can't say enough good things about the quality of materials, the workmanship, and your EXCELLENT customer service!  I can't believe the difference between your fatigue blouse and the farby coat I've been wearing the past four years.  In the future, when I need new uniform pieces, I'll come back to you.  I'm looking forward to receiving the trousers I ordered. Thanks so much for your great service.  It was truly a pleasure to do business with you!
Sincerely,

Bruce R.

Chris
I've wanted to say thanks for the boiler I got from you in March, but I have been extremely swamped with school work. I had my mom call to order and to see if you had an early war shelter half in-stock. I had asked her to use the credit card so the stuff would arrive sooner. Anyways, my mom was very confused at what I exactly wanted and she said you were extremely wonderful to deal with. She said you could have easily sold her a late war half which is not what I was looking for. She said I can deal with you anytime and that's saying something as she frowns on me buying CW stuff when I could be using it for paying for school. Sorry for rambling on, but I just wanted to let you know that.

Andy V.

Good Morning Chris,
I am sorry that I did not get back to you sooner. I received the coat on Monday. It was still snowing when I got home that night so when I saw the package on my porch I said to myself what a perfect opportunity. I removed the coat from its box and put it on and grabbed my shovel. Well the coat stood the test! I may have been cursing the snow but I was warm and happy to have this really nice coat to add to my impression.
Thanks,
Rob W.

Mr. Daley,
I received your Confederate Hooded Overcoat in the mail yesterday and couldn't be happier. It looks great. The quality of your product is second to none. I couldn't be more pleased with the material, the lining, the feel. It looks 1860's. I can't wait to show it off at my first event of this year next week. I know the other members of my group,  are going to be green with envy. This is definitely going to add to the uniqueness and quality of the overall impression of our group.  I'm sure the look will generate a lot of questions from the public.  Again, thank you for your impeccable research and excellent reproduction. Without reservation, I will be recommending your products to everyone. I'm still amazed how really impressive the coat looks. I wish I could wear it around work, but unfortunately it's indoors. Thanks.

Sincerely,
Drew P
